The feel is firm but nicely dampened, with a surprisingly low level of shock on off-center hits. Yonex has made this string with its unique Silicone Oil Infused Filament (SIF) Technology. This is a manufacturing process that reduces stringbed friction, enabling the strings to snap back with vicious force (resulting in heavy spin). Power 7/10 Poly Tour Fire is aligned with most polyester strings, with a greater focus on control rather than power. For players that need more help with producing more easy power we would suggest trying a multifilament, or natural gut alternative. However, this string is considered to be slightly more high powered than other polyester alternatives. Spin 7/10 Poly Tour Fire is not an edged string, unlike spin monsters such as Hyper-G or RPM rough. However, Poly Tour Fire still produces very respectable levels of topspin, with outstanding ball pocketing and snap-back thanks to SIF technology. Warranty All tennis racquets purchased from Tennis Direct Australia come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. If you experience any problems with your racquet please return it to our store along with your invoice (postage if applicable is at your own cost). We will show it to the manufacturer and let you know the outcome of your warranty assessment as soon as possible (generally this process takes a week). Please be aware that we cannot provide replacement racquets without approval from the manufacturer. If your racquet is discontinued we will provide you with a suitable replacement model. The RA# is valid for 14 days so please return the item immediately.
