Up for your consideration original early c1923 Soviet Russian porcelain figurine depicting collective farmer with pigs, made at Gorodnitskaya Porcelain Factory named after. Comintern. Marked accordingly on the bottom. Excellent condition, consistent with age and time. Please, look at the pictures as they are part of the description. The Gorodnitskaya faience factory arose as a subsidiary of Korets business in 1807 at the expense of Y. Czartoryski and belonged to the joint-stock company Koretskaya Manufactory. By the beginning of the 1850s, the Gorodnitskaya factory became the property of Teresa Lyubomirskaya, then her son K.O. Lyubomirsky. In 1856, he sold the factory to Vaclav Rulikovsky, who began modernizing production for the production of porcelain. At the end of the 1870s, the factory completely burned down and was sold to the Poltava Land Bank. Then the factory was owned by R. Bosse, and from the beginning of the 1890s by the landowner S. Gizhyckiy. He leased the factory to the Zussman merchants, who owned the factory until 1917. After the revolution, the plant was nationalized. Production was resumed in 1923-24. and received the name “Gorodnitskaya Porcelain Factory named after. Comintern".
