Original authentic Antique (1900) EWE kente cloth from Ghana made of cotton and silk. This is a " Men
size " cloth and measures approximately 119 by 83 inches and it can cover a king or queen
size bed. EWE ( Ghana -Volta Region ) Kente is an Ceremonial cloth that is hand woven on a horizontal treadle loom and put together by hand. A real piece of Authentic African art.Great condition, considered the most labor-intensive textile originally for the king.Photos are actual representation of the listing. Note: most of our pieces have spent decades at least in two continents.A small split,scrapes,cracks and smell are normal part of their patina attesting to their age and extensive use.This does not constitute a damage.As we examine each piece carefully when we receive it and report any damage in our listings.
