Listing details

1880 Willcox and Gibbs hand crank sewing machine. Date obtained using

serial number. Machine has been oiled and cleaned and moves as intended. Unable to fully test without the correct thread spool holder, but appears to rotate freely and in conjunction with the bobbin mechanism. Bobbin compartment opens and closes freely. Wheel crank turns freely. Includes attached hard to find base plate mount as shown. Much of the original gold leaf decoration is still intact. Comes as shown.
