Brand new 1/18 scale diecast car model of 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Dark Green with Red Stripes and Green Interior "Celebrity Owned" Limited Edition to 402 pieces Worldwide die cast model car by ACME.

Brand new box. Real rubber tires. Steerable wheels. Has removable top. True-to-scale detail. Has detailed chassis. Tilting passenger seat. Officially licensed product. Detailed 4WD suspension. Wired and plumbed engine. Opening hood, doors and tailgate. Manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. Detailed interior, exterior, engine compartment. Dimensions approximately L-9.5, W-4.75, H-4 inches. Originally owned by none other than Steve McQueen! A young gentleman named Bob Bianchi acquired this custom Blazer via a Penny Saver newspaper ad in 1971, buying it out of a warehouse in the Los Angeles suburbs for $1,800.00, and the Bianchi family has retained it ever since. Later research by Bianchi discovered the Steve McQueen/Solar Productions origins as one of several purchased for the Baja desert race program. Accompanying the sale was a copy of the original dealer invoice from December 1969 showing Steve McQueen/Solar Productions as the first purchaser of this 1970 K5. When delivered, the Blazer was reportedly set up as a support vehicle for the actual off-road race, getting a front posi traction differential installed and a swap to a four-headlamp GMC grille to allow better light coverage in the desert night.
