This classic advertising icon is depicted in his signature welcoming pose, bowing gracefully on a base designed to look like a flying carpet.This specific model features a maroon flocked (velvet-textured) tunic with gold-painted accents, white and red striped turban, and traditional curled-toe shoes (jhutis). The base is labeled "AIR-INDIA" in raised white lettering against a green background with gold fringe details.Condition Details:• Overall: Good vintage condition with vibrant colors.• Tunic: The flocking is largely intact with some light shelf wear/dust typical of its age.• Turban: As noted in the photos, the green jewel on the turban has a small circular indentation where a decorative feather (aigrette) was originally attached.
