This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Saturn Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968-69, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25. He later joined Aerojet as a Chief Scientist for advanced propulsion and worked directly with China/ France/ Europe/ Japan and Russia marketing the NK-33/RD57/RD-107 and several other Engine variations - These were mostly the Engines made for the 1960s-70s NK-1 Soviet Rocket meant to take the Soviets to the Moon - There also several Engine and Program studies from Europe/Japan/China. This listing is for a 1993 Original GENCORP AEROJET NASA Transparency and Photo Presentation relating to Vulcain/Ariane 5 including some SEP information, LOX/LH Booster Engines Comparison (Japan/USA/France) as well as a section on SRB (Solid Rocket Booster) for China. Presentation is in Excellent overall condition for use and age with some expected use/age and storage wear. Binder shows storage wear and has sticker inserted inside clear cover "TEST OPERATIONS AEROJET TECH SYSTEMS COMPANY LOX/HC."
