If you're interested, you can take a look.If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.Dimensions: Medallion: about 3/4" x 1-3/8"Die: 2" x 1-3/4"Weight: 1-1/2 lbs. What is a HUB?In jewelry, coining, and medallions, a manufacturer needs an original master pattern. A hub is the original, expertly hand-carved, highly detailed, raised relief pattern. A work of mostly undiscovered, valuable, and collectible art & sculpture. Because the hub is the master pattern, they were used to create a die and then placed back on the shelf. What is a DIE?A die is the impression made directly from the original hub. The die would then be used in the manufacturing process of jewelry coining, and medallions and would be “die-struck”. If a die cracked, another impression die could be created from the original hub pattern. Dies have the reverse image so that the impression is the correct orientation when struck.
