Lionel 6-8307. GS-4 Steam Engine & 2671W-6 Tender. Southern Pacific . Original Box with styrofoam inserts, instructions paper, warranty card, list of service stations.Serviced: The gears have been lightly greased with Labelle 106 grease. The wheel axles have been lightly oiled with Labelle 106 synthetic oil. The motor brushes have been cleaned. The commutator has been cleaned and polished.Condition of locomotive = Excellent. There are some small paint scratches on the cowcatcher (photo , near the "Daylight" emblem on lower left side (photo # 2), top near E-unit lever (photo ; and a few superficial scuffs that are difficult to see. There are no missing pieces.Function of locomotive = Excellent. (watch the video). The smoke unit works, but it doesn't produce large puffs of smoke. It is difficult to see in the video against my tan carpet. But you can see it against the black train paint when it goes in reverse or slow towards the end. The e-unit works perfectly. Magne-traction works perfectly too. Condition of tender = Near perfect. Function of tender = Excellent. Electronic whistle works great. (listen to video). Condition of box = Very good. Some scratches, scuff marks, and dents. (see photos).Note: Shipping will be higher than usual due to heavy weight and large box size. The locomotive by itself weighs 5.5 lbs.
