~American Girl Doll ~This listing is for the Truly Me , My American Girl Doll. She was one of the first-released American Girl of Today dolls. She was released in 1995, modified in 1999, and retired in 2018. She will come in her meet outfit, The Lilac Dress.Her face mold is the classic face mold. She has light brown hair with short bangs. Her eyes are green and she has light skin. Doll was the only American Girl doll who had the original Mattel green eyes until the revamping of the American Girl doll line.Please NOTE: This is not an error, this doll does have green eyes. The first release of doll had gray eyes and darker brown hair. This doll's tag reads 2014.Her hair is straight, so easy to care for and keep in good shape, especially for a younger girl or first-time American Girl doll owner. Younger girls love to have a doll whose hair they can learn to braid on.Doll is also quite rare now as she is no longer being manufactured, a great doll for the American Girl doll collector!!I was asked if she is wearing panties that come off. Yes, she is and her panties are a dark pink with white elastic around the waist and leg openings as you can see in the 7th and 8th photos above.She was purchased at a benefit sale so she has a very tiny x on her bottom to prevent you from returning/exchanging her at a retail store. It is a beautiful sturdy box that measures 6 3/8" x 6 3/8". They would be great for ideas for parties and days with no school when your child might be needing something extra to do.I need to charge extra as they are heavy, adding an additional pound to this doll package.
