1898 SPANISH CAMPAIGN MEDAL - MARINE CORPS VERSION - 1930’S NORTHERN STAMP CONTRACTThe medal is unnumbered and features a full wrap brooch. The Marine Corps version of this medal is significantly more rare and far harder to find than it’s Navy counterpart.The Spanish Campaign Medal is a military campaign medal of the United States Armed Forces which recognized those members of the U.S. military who had served in the Spanish–American War. The Navy version of the Spanish Campaign Medal was created in June 1908 and issued to any member of either the Navy or Marine Corps who had served in the Philippine Islands between the dates of 1 May and 16 August 1898.Will be shipped fully insured via USPS.Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or for additional photos.
