One of the collections belonged to my Dad, Jack. He collected matchbook covers for 82 years of his life - right up until the day he passed. He amassed a collection of nearly a million covers mainly from the USA, but many nations of the world are represented in his collection as well.My wife Jane & I are now undertaking the task of getting as many of these matchbook covers back into the hands of whom they mean the most - family members of those who worked at, owned, or had some connection to the businesses featured on these old time matchbook covers.We love to hear from people as to why they made a purchase or what a particular cover means to them or their family.
