Brand solas to reflect light back to the Night Vision equipment, providing crystal- clear friend or foe identification. Matt Top coat. Patches come with a standard Matt top coat to cut down on possible glare in the visible spectrum. The matt topcoat is screen printed and will not peel off like a laminate. In addition to cutting down on glare, the matt topcoat provides protection against scratching, and prolongs the life or your patches (which take a lot of abuse).
