Vintage Chelsea House Exotic Bird Tray/Platter Hand Painted 12” Pierced Yellow

Beautiful vintage, late 20thC century double handled decorative tray / platter by Chelsea House.The tray is decorated in Rococo Revival style, similar to antique Chelsea Bird wares. It features elaborate pieces and gilded handles and rims, hand painted image of an exotic bird - peacock, floral details in the center and beautiful yellow and gold ground. Marked on the underside. Chelsea House is a luxury and established American brand. The tray was manufactured in China.Measures approximately 12”L by 9.5” W Condition: very good condition- minoruse related marks and scratches, wear on the underside/foot, production/firing imperfections. Wear to decorations is minimal.Please study pictures closely for more details. I posted many pictures and close-ups to allow my customers to study the condition of this item.Imperfections are correspond with age and are expected. Despite the flaws, it’s a wonderful example of English wares of early Victorian era.
