Omega-Style Co-Axial Escapement Demonstration Model

This Escapement Demonstration model exhibits the Co-Axial Escapement invented by George Daniels and adopted by Omega.The escapement is powered by a steel mainspring, which requires the user to wind it from the underside. Once wound, the user can move the balance roller and observe the action of the escapement. Please note that the escapement requires user input to run - we feel that moving the balance roller by hand gives the user a better appreciation for the action of the escapement. The escapement parts are all 3D printed in the UK using plastic. The escapement has three ball bearings to minimise friction and runs for >25 turns of the silver coloured intermediate wheel. Due to the 3D printed nature of these parts, there will be visible layers as shown in the pictures. The demonstration model comes with a 1-year guarantee against faults in materials or workmanship (under normal use).
