If you're a parent buying an instrument for a kid that might not stick with it, of if you're a student thinking about switching instruments over the summer, it's better to buy used: it's cheaper than a new American- or Japanese-made trumpet, but better-built than a cheap Chinese trumpet. If you're in marching band, it's better to have a used trumpet instead of risking falling over with your $3000 Bach Stradivarius. All of the used trumpets sold here have been cleaned, greased with Superslick tuning slide grease, and lubricated with Al-Cass Fast Valve Oil. Felts, corks and/or springs have been replaced. Where necessary, braces and other parts have been re-soldered. Used trumpets will have dents, patina, and lacquer wear, but function as shown in the video (I mostly play clarinet, so you will probably get it to sound better than I can). This beginner kit includes:Pan-American B-flat Trumpet (#183299, 1949 production year)Generic 7C MouthpieceWhen you receive your trumpet, please pull all tuning slides and valve pistons to clean and re-grease. All used trumpets are stored in climate-controlled conditions, but I cannot control how they are stored by USPS. Also, your band director may have specific instructions for how to grease the third tuning slide or what to use for the valve pistons.Unfortunately, returns cannot be offered for online sales.
