This stamp collection issued in 1977 contains one important stamp for each of the 50 United States. Each page includes a historical explanation of the event or place depicted on the stamp. Many of these stamps were issued in the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's. Approximately one third of the story is on the front of each page, with the remainder printed on the back side. Each page is worthy of a history lesson. These would be an excellent resource for home schooling.
