Motorola Minitor III/IV Programming Cradle with USB Interface

NOTE: Windows 10 users ONLY- PLEASE read the entire listing before ordering. If you run Windows 10 and don't know how to install a USB driver, please do not purchase. Sorry, but my profit margin is too thin on these to warrant providing an hour of free tech support. This is a Minitor III/IV(i.e. 3/4) programmer intended to be used with Microsoft Windows PCs running XP through Windows 7. The programming cradle will also work with Windows 8,10 and 11, BUT you will have to download the driver specified on the enclosed instruction sheet. If you aren't comfortable doing that, please don't order this programmer from me or ANY one else. I have a installation guide available on request that walks you through the installation for Windows 8-11. The USB interface cable on my version lets you avoid having to find a

serial port on a PC, which has become rare on newer PCs. The programmer is powered by the USB interface, and the pager is powered by its own battery, so there is no need for a power transformer. I build these from charging cradles. (Note that this is now solely a programmer, and cannot be used as a charger. It also cannot be used to change the firmware in a pager.) The Minitor pagers are very sensitive receivers, and can be used for other purposes besides paging, assuming you can program it yourself and don't have to pay someone $15-$20 every time you want it re-programmed. This programming cradle works with the standard Motorola Minitor III/IV programming PC software. I am NOT providing this software, but you can find it online. Note that this is solely a pager programmer, used to set frequencies, tones, alerts, etc. It cannot be used to change the firmware in a pager. It also doesn't support the Engineer Mode special software used by shops to ahcnge the pager's frequency sub-band, channel capacity, etc. Note: the modified cradle is no longer a standard Motorola product. So, please don't go to Motorola with any problems, contact me instead. I have a 100% positive eBay feedback, and intend to keep it. So, contact me if you have any problems.
