ANTIQUE LATE 1800'S SIOUX TEEPEE BAG OR SADDLE BAG W/ QUILL & BEADED DECORATIONS. Up for sale is a wonderful old original I believe to be late 1800's Sioux either teepee bag or possibly saddlebag. The bag is decorated with quill work on the front face. Beaded top flap and side panels. And tin cones with I believe to be dyed horse hair. The back portion is I believe to be made of old trade cloth. The remainder of the bag is leather. Approximate measurements are, 12" in height, the width at the top is 21" and at the bottom is 19", and the side panels are 3 1/2" wide. Photos 1-12 are shown flat and photos 13 - 22 are shown with packing materials inside for 3 dimensional view. Great early example. Used condition.
