Dazu gehören die Lebensmittel- und Getränkeindustrie sowie pharmazeutische und chemische Anwendungen. Außerdem kann Edelstahl relativ hohen Temperaturen standhalten. Jedoch haben Edelstahllager eine etwas geringere Belastbarkeit als ihre Gegenstücke aus Chromstahl. Ansonsten sind die Merkmale des 61900VA EZO mit denen der Standardrillenkugellager aus Chromstahl vergleichbar. Wie alle einreihigen Rillenkugellager haben sie ein einfaches und stabiles Design.
