In a large presentation binder with gold highlights, this collection features 40 miniaturized highly detailed cloth battle flags skillfully re-created to highlight famous Union and Confederate units during the American Civil War. The album contains detailed information and a historical recap for each of the 40 flags of the Union and Confederacy.The collection was offered as a monthly subscription. Each month you would receive a flag mounted behind plastic on a 12"x 9" cardboard page. The back of the page includes a historical recap for the particular regiment. Of course for additional $ you could get the maroon binder with the protective sleeves to keep them all together. Content:20 plastic sleeve "pages" double sided with battle flags = 40 flags. 10 pages=20 flags. 20 Union and 20 Confederate. Each flag is about 6"x6".Condition:The binder is in VG condition. All of the plastic sleeves needed reinforcement at the binder holes. Sleeves themselves are in VG condition, no rips/tears or writing. The 40 cards are EX, well protected through the years by the sleeves and binder. The flags are equally in EX condition.
