I put batteries in the reciever and seems to work and don't know how to use the transmitter so will be listed as "as is". I called goldak co. and was told that thier records don't go back any further than 1960, but guessed that it would be between 1936-1940, which the way it is made would support that. if you notice on the distributor name tag it has a phone # that hasn't beeen used for many years.I ship Monday thru Friday same day if paid before 3 PM and will ship on Saturday if paid before 11 AM.
