This is a weld it yourself kit transmission support bracket specifically designed for the ZF 5-42 diesel or 460 transmission, there is some fitment issue with the 1996/1997 zf5-47 model.. hopefully we'll get corrected in the next batch.. this one also won't fit the modular (v10 /5.4 ) Zf5 or SBF 302/300 versions . Check out my other listings for versions that fit those. It's purposes is to provide extra support for the transfer case as well as keeping the transmission ears from breaking (shown broken on the transmission case in the photos that is not included) This is a DIY kit. Does not come pre-welded. All parts are MADE IN USA . You will receive five metal pieces .. two of them bolt to the ZF5 transfer case flange and the large plate goes between the transmission tail housing and the transmission mount.. You can tack weld it in position and remove it for complete welding with the side braces. It can be reinstalled once it's all welded together. This is the updated version 2 design. Provides a little easier access to bolts and clears the low range sensor on a 1356 case. We will NOT ship outside of the USA or CAN.
