They are designed to keep the weight or COM (Center of Mass) highly concentrated which helps reduce Rotational Inertia when the car transitions on the curve from the ramp to the flat. Cars with the weight concentrated to the COM (Center of Mass) in the car are faster than cars with the weight more spread out. High Performance Canopies are a concentrated weight designed to be installed by simply locating where you want to place the weight (Center of Mass) on the top of the car, drill a 1/2" Diameter x 1/4" Deep Hole (accommodates thinner or thicker designed car bodies, Stud is 1/4" long), glue it in place and you are ready to race! Tungsten High Performance Canopies are easy to install! Drill a 1/4" deep 1/2" Diameter hole then Glue to your car. This 3.5 oz Tungsten Canopy has a 1/2" stud for mounting to your car. Drill a 1/4" deep 1/2" Diameter hole then super glue to your car. Canopy weighs 3.5 oz and is: 1 3/4" long X 1 1/4" wide X 1/4" tall, 1/2" stud. Stud is 1/4" long.Ready to mount and Race!
