MINT MONT BLANC 144 Classique fountain pen with a 14k EF- Extra Fine Point nib that writes lovely. The nib has some flex and is very smooth for an EF.The pen is in mint, almost NOS- New Old Stock condition, as you can see on the pictures. There are no ink traces anywhere in the pen. There might be some smaller marks on the pen. This is a piston filler pen, which has been fully serviced. You can see the picture of the disassembled pen. This is the a very early version of the 146. If not counting the ultra rate, blue ink window transitional 146, this is first made after the pause in production of the celluloid 146. It was made in 1970s in Germany, which is stamped in the clip ring. Most of the early resin pens were marked as West Germany. The clip is more similar to a celluloid 146, as the clip ring is much thicker than the later models and has sharp edges. It has a split ebonite ink feed, which was later replaced with a plastic one. The nib is monotone 14k, the later pens had 2 tone nibs. Also, the snowflake screws to the cap, but unique to this period, it has a metal collar that goes around the screw, which wasn't existent in the later pens.Shipping is with DHL/Fedex Express, usually takes 1-5 days worldwide. In most cases, there are no custom duties for my customers, however I cannot guarantee this, thus any possible customs chargers are the buyers response. It comes as in pictures. The pen is guaranteed authentic
