This Official DOL-003 Nintendo GameCube Controller has been personally restored. This controller is fully functional and ready to go. Cosmetic flaws are shown in the pictures, so please look at them carefully before purchasing!Refurbishing StepsHardware maintenance: This may include replacing bad Z-button switches, analog joystick boxes (tight joysticks using OEM potentiometers), and cable plugs with aftermarket parts. Most OEM thumbsticks will have been replaced (sometimes including the C-stick) with a third-party rubber-topped plastic thumbstick to provide a similar feel. Internal and external cleaning: The shell and buttons have been handwashed with hot water and soap, and every surface is wiped down with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Some dirty spots may be left alone as they require an aggressive, abrasive cleaning that could damage the natural finish of the shell.Testing: The controller is tested using a MayFlash GameCube Controller Adapter on PC to verify all buttons and joysticks work. Then it is further tested on a Nintendo Switch running Super Smash Bros Ultimate to ensure no stick drift. Evaluation: The controller is verified to be working but may have scuffs, scratches, and other unlisted physical defects, so please see the photos for the controller you will receive.
