Vintage USGI-Style OD Green M36 / M67 Davis Buckle Quick-Release Pistol Belt

This Vintage USGI-Style OD Green M36 / M67 Davis Buckle Quick-Release Pistol Belt is in very good, clean condition overall and shows only mild signs of age and storage. No markings can be found on the belt or any of the metal hardware. The belt is an older M36-style arrangement but is paired with a Late Vietnam M67-style quick-release buckle system. The canvas web material is very strong and heavy, the same quality as genuine USGI examples. Copies made in the 60s and 70s, commonly imported from Japan and Taiwan, are made from noticeably lighter, weaker material when compared to authentic USGI belts. The OD Green tone of the web is strong and is closer in

color to WW2 era OD7 web than M56 pieces. All metal hardware is clean and functions as you would expect. No obvious evidence of wear can be noticed on any of the attachment grommets. The metal hardware is also very close in the construction and quality of USGI examples, noticeably better than most commercial imports encountered on the collector market. Total length from end to end, buckle to buckle, is 47". Width is 2.25". This is a very intriguing piece of kit and would be a welcome addition to any advanced US web gear collection.
