Original lithograph by Saul Steinberg "Crash and Burn" for "Derriere Le Miroir" published by the French art dealer Aimé Maeght in 1971. The print's colors are vibrant, and the printing is of the highest quality. The verso has another print.Derrière le Miroir was an art magazine published from 1946 to 1982. There was a total of 253 editions in 200 volumes. The large format magazine was illustrated with original lithographs (in addition to a lithograph cover), as well as some reproductions. Writers and poets like Aragon, Beckett, Char, Eluard, Prévert, Queneau, Reverdy, Sartre all contributed texts. Most of the major artists of the second half of the twentieth century created lithographs for Derrière le Miroir including: Chagall, Léger, Miro, Calder, Tapies, Rebeyrolle, Fielder, Chillida, Garache, Braque, Matisse, Giacometti, Riopelle, Ubac, Tal-Coat, Steinberg, Kandinsky...
