Vintage Sheffield Silver Co. Silver Footed Platter. Victorian-era silverplate craftsmanship originating from the United States. This platter has intricate design and detailed footed base. Branded with the prestigious Sheffield name. NOTE: I was given this platter new in 1982 and it has been in the box ever since. Never used. Never polished until now. The pictures show before and after polishing.The after pictures show what has occurred due to the lack of polishing. There is one area on the edge that looks bent but the platter came that way. Don’t know if it is suppose to be that way or if it was an error during the making.
