Beautiful Genuine LARGE Egyptian Scarab, 29mm X 20mm, 8.7g. Traces of blue glaze still visible, center has the cartouche of Pharaoh Thutmose III 1481 - 1425 BC fifth Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. At the top the 'men' glyph meaning established the three circular glyphs which seem to be the sun sign generally used for the God Ra. The final glyph is the basket 'neb' meaning all or lord. A very rare item that was housed in a silver frame with loop for wearing. This is a rare item from antiquity.
