OEM Replacement Nintendo GameCube Optical Laser Drive Assembly - US Seller

This is a refurbished Nintendo Gamecube laser assembly. I have repaired hundreds of these, taking great time and a personal touch. You are guaranteed to receive a working laser which works for either version of the console, DOL001 or DOL101. The refurbishment and testing process is: **Check laser lense for proper orientation **Clean laser lense with isopropyl alcohol. **Check laser potentiometer strength with a multimeter **Inspect all wiring for secure connection and no fraying. Replace if necessary. **Check all capacitors, replace with new capacitors and new soldering if necessary. **Lubricate moving and sliding parts as needed. **Check all plastic components, replace those that are weak or damaged **Check laser motor functionality and replace when necessary. **Check laser spindle for proper rotation and securely holding of disc during operation, replace if necessary. **Apply fresh soldering to power circuitry. **Clean laser motherboard with isopropyl alcohol. **Function test on a gamecube console, play test several times to verify proper functionality. Please note this does not come with the door switch, you will simply need to move yours over from the old unit. Unplug the wire and it is one screw for removal.
