From the world of Eric Carle, these adorable The Very Hungry Caterpillar colorful banks are brand new, in the original manufacturer's boxes and packaging, by Roman, Inc. Each bank is made of durable resin, and measures approximately 4-1/2" high, 5-1/4" wide (at its widest to the end of the caterpillar), and about 3-1/2" deep (at their deepest towards the top of the apple). The coin slot on the top of the apple measures about 1-1/8" long and 1/4" wide, and it has a black rubber bank plug on the bottom, and the bottom opening is about 1-1/4" in diameter. The bank itself is a shiny red apple, with a brown stem and green leaf on top, and the colorful little caterpillar from the children's story is crawling out of the side of the apple (if you click on each photo and run your cursor over them, that enlarges the details). Vibrantly painted, in hues of red, green, turquoise, purple, and yellow, with brown little feet, they're cute and lovable, like they just came out of the book!
