Nice complete issue of the Chicago monthly Poetry for July 1977 has some great content. A very good copy. 59 pages. See photo for complete contents. Some highlights include: English poet and editor Jon Silkin contributes an essay (10 pages) in review of new works by poets R.S. Thomas, Edward Brathwaite, Peter Scupham and Michael Schmidt. The young poet and critic William Logan pens four new poems and an essay (9 pages) in review of works by James Tate, Derek Walcott ("one of a dozen or so poets writing in English who deserve constant and informed attention"), Leonard Nathan, Constance Urdang and Robert Hayden. Logan's poem Joseph Conrad here should not be missed. Eight new poems by Alfred Corn, and others by Isabella Gardner, Mary Gregory (1st appearance), David Lehman, etc.
