Up for sale is 1 brand new Philips CDM 12.4 VAM1204 laser optic assembly. The optic can be used to rebuild most AMI/ROWE, Rock Ola, and NSM CDM12 with the Industrial or CDPro 1252 Player optics. Also used on some other consumer cd players compatible with this assembly. Note* This is not a full, direct drop in replacement or a whole CD PRO player. The parts are used to rebuild your existing player. Rebuilding the pro and cdm12 industrial player is a fairly easy process. Get the parts cheaply here.PLEASE READ FAQs below. This kit can be used to rebuild the optics in the Philips CDM12 Industrial and CDPRO 1252 models only. It will not work on CDM3, CDM4, or CDPRO2 1254, 1255 (CDPRO2) CD players Q. Sometimes my cd player does not play CDs. my player spins a little then rejects the CD. Will this kit fix my issue?A. It depends. First you have to check what kind of cd player you have. If you have a CDPRO 1252 then this kit can be used to rebuild the optics in your CD player. Rebuilding may fix the problem but without being able to diagnose your player to make sure other components aren't bad then it is hard to determine exactly what is wrong with it. Q. Is this a full replacement of my CD playerA. No. This kit only contains the Optic to rebuild an existing CD Player. It is not a full, direct replacement. Q. Will this kit work in other CD systems.A. The kit is compatible with the CDM12 Industrial and CDPRO 1252. I have heard that it will work in some Beosound systems, but not sure of the model. Anything else is up to the buyer to research compatibility. I do not know if it will work in anything else
