Exact items shipped.Jet Eyes acquired a rudder from a former Blue Angels A-4F Skyhawk in 2025 originally discovered at a scrap / boneyard. It was painted in Blue Angel Blue and had remnants of the original yellow tail number: 6, the Opposing Solo.The Blue Angels operated the A-4F Skyhawk from 1974 to 1986. Replacing the larger F-4 Phantom II, the compact, highly maneuverable A-4 allowed the team to return to tighter formations and more nimble aerobatics. The Blue Angels modified their A-4Fs with smoke systems and removed equipment to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics. The Scooter’s small size, reliability, and spirited performance made it a favorite among pilots and fans alike. The Skyhawk was replaced by the F/A-18 Hornet in 1986.These drops sold out quickly and are now unavailable anywhere else.
