This listing is for a fine quality British sterling silver mug/tankard that was was made in London in 1733 by Thomas England. This hand-wrought piece is 3 3/4" tall, 2 7/8" in diameter at the widest, and is made of heavy gauge silver weighing 7.58 troy ounces. It is hand-hammered and has a very nice shape with a scroll handle. Great condition for age with no distracting dings or dents. It is a hand-made piece so you can see some tool marks and hammer marks on the inside of the piece. There are a few very tiny blemishes that wouldn't show up in pictures. The bottom and the top rims are not perfectly round and there is a very slight wobble when sitting on a hard surface. Please see all pictures for details.
