This is the exactly 2 pounds, bag maybe 2 oz, so perhaps 1.14 of wool, not marked but much softer than the class 4 so just guessing it must be class 2 or 3. My mom is now 80 years old and stopped spinning a couple years ago so she gave me her wool to sell. Most of it is from her own sheep but one bag seems to have a tag. Most is washed but some is unprocessed and unwashed. I don't know anything about this except what she told me and what I can see and weigh. She said most spinners like the largest amount possible (multiple pounds) since it takes a lot to spin a sweater, for instance, so we are listing by color, type, and multiple pounds as possible. We did vaccuum seal the bags to make them as thin as possible but will need to get some large padded kraft type envelopes for shipping them I suspect. I did weigh the large vaccuum bags a 3 or 4 ounces, so when I weigh a package of wool at 2.13 (2 pounds 13 ounces) you can guess that it is more likely about 2.9 pounds of wool and 4 ounces of plastic bag. Happy to combine shipping if that helps. Might be able to get a big box to send multiple lots in. Also pickup is free here in the Eureka CA area. If my shipping estimate is really high I will send a partial refund, just having to guess a bit on the size.
