I fixed this one up by replacing the old jacks that were in place with NOS gold plated jacks that are a spitting image of the originals that came with these pedals with the exception of the gold plating (no cheap Amazon junk here and these were not cheap and very hard to find!)The battery clip was poorly repaired prior to my ownership so I took the liberty to fix and heat shrink the black cable in the battery cavity (see pics). This doesn't affect anything going on from the outputted signal while playing. The footswitch had a prior repair and was set in place by a few pieces of cardboard which actually work great and ensure the pedal engages and disengages nicely! I went ahead and added a piece of the soft end of velcro on the inside lid of the plastic exterior footswitch to ensure further ease of engagement and disengagement of the pedal.The drive, tone and level knobs all have a slight wiggle (extremely slight) since they are soldered to the PCB board but there is no scratchiness present in the pots. All 3 knobs turn smoothly with ease. I have high confidence in the repairs made and this pedal has new life which will last for years to come. One thing I always recommend with these 10 series pedals is that you treat them with care. The input/output jacks and 9v power jack are all soldered directly to the PCB board (bad design by Ibanez in my opinion). I wouldn't go shoving the cables in hard to the input/output jacks if you'd like to extend the life of the pedal. The footswitch exterior is made of plastic so stomping on it hard is not a good idea either. If you take care of it, it will take care of you!
