This is a custom, one of a kind diorama that I created for a lecture that I gave at MisCon this summer. I started with a 7" Diamond Select figure, customized it a bit by adding shredded black cheesecloth to the sleeves (see detail), and then created the base to display it and the 8 horsemen on. The horsemen are printed on 1/16th" thick matboard. I used natural foliage and real dried leaves. They are affixed with spray adhesive. The base is triangular in shape, 18" x 12" x 12" x 1 1/2" tall.It is high quality hardwood that has been stained black. The complete diorama measures approximately 20" wide x 10" deep x 18" tall.Lighting effects are created by the use of a simple LED battery powered button candle (included) that you hide behind the figure. It rotates through multiple colors, and looks actually quite amazing, actually, pretty creepy in a dark room. I did some of the photos of this diorama against a white background, so you can better see the detail of the trees.The figure and the row of horsemen are each held in place by single, 18" gauge wire pins, which are then inserted into a tiny drilled hole in the base. This allows easy removal of both the figure & horses as needed. Figure is slightly adjustable/poseable, as it is jointed. Extra weapons are included.Shipping. Will put much care into the packaging of this item. Will remove the figure & row of horsemen so that they're not bouncing around on the diorama in shipping. Will wrap separately, and when you get it, simply install to base by slipping the mounting pins into the holes in the base. All that said, be aware that a few leaves might come loose in shipping, or one of the branches might need to be reglued. This is not a mass produced item, it is one of a kind.About me.
