Here we have an absolutely beautiful red crystal cut glass bowl. This is very heavy at 5 LBS 3.5 OZ. I have no idea who made this or where it was made. I have researched it very much. Bowl checks all the boxes of a Waterford Lismore style bowl, weight, clarity, reflects in a prism effect and so forth. I can however find no etched name on it anywhere. There is no tag or box to go by either. There is an extremely small mark that can be seen with very high magnification that could be a makers mark but I can't make it out or identify it. I have read that Waterford among others used to use stick on tags back in the day and didn't start using machine or acid etching until more modern times so that is possible. Anyway this looks to me to be awesome high end work. I have also found some very similar items from German Imperlux the so called worlds finest, so for sure could be that. Anyway this is in great shape I would say it spent it's life as a display piece and never used for anything. There are no cracks or chips or scratches or scuffs. The only thing I can find is in spots around the outer edge of the base at most around 1mm in, there are some wear marks from sitting for many years. This can be seem with magnification and barley to the eye. If you look at the bottom pic's expanded you can just make it out. I found it as part of a large red glass display collection. If you have any questions please ask because I do not except returns. Shipping USPS Priority to U.S. 50 states only and thanks for looking.
