Signed African Applique Textile Narrative Story Folk Art Cloth Wall Hanging Signed " Pitta " Not sure of the history on this or who the artist is. The textile is stitched onto a larger white cotton backing cloth. The backing shows scattered paint marks and studio wear consistent with an artist’s working drop cloth used during creation. These marks are outside the central appliqué composition and do not affect the artwork itself and once its framed it would not be visible. Outer dimensions are 33"x40" . I tried to show a small spot where material is slightly lighter in color, its not very noticable but there and the Last 2 photos reflect this.
