As a vintage tobacco pipe restorer and artisan, I have a similar passion for vintage pocket watches. These magnificent mechanical watches are often displayed in hanging cases or in clasp fobs that use metal hooks to hang the watch bow. Some of use even carry these vintage pieces in our pickets for daily timekeeping!! Unfortunately, all of these metal clasps, clips and fobs scratch and wear on these watch bows.I have handcrafted each of these leather watch bow hangers to protect our vintage pocket watches. Made from genuine full grain leather, these 2 mm thick straps are ideal for durability, flexibility and functional use to suspend any pocket watch with a bow either in a hanging display or on a fob/chain. Additionally, I use 100% pure New Zealand lanolin to soften, preserve and moisture-proof these custom watch straps.At 1/2” wide and 1” long folded, a 5 mm minimum jump/key ring will be snug, 1 cm ring or hook for the grommet is suggested (not included).
