McIntosh MR71 stereo FM tuner (Serial 41B73) offered as-is for parts or repair. Cosmetics: front panel end caps look very good; lower extrusion is very good; glass has a couple of small defects. Knobs are missing. Chassis shows light sparkling rust spots. It is missing one tube; included tubes noted are a Telefunken 12AU7, a McIntosh 6BN8, and a McIntosh 6BL8, with IF tubes appearing to be original. Output jacks have been replaced with gold-plated jacks, and there is evidence of past service. Free shipping included.

We are offering this MR 71 for parts of repair. The front panel end caps look very good. Knobs are missing. The lower extrusion is very good, the glass has a couple of small defects in it. The chassis has light sparkling rust spots. It is missing one tube. There is a Telefunken, 12 AU7, a Macintosh 6BN8 a McIntosh 6BL8. All of the IF tubes appeared to be original McIntosh tubes. The output jacks have been replaced with gold plated jacks and there’s evidence that Audio Classics repaired this sometime in the past. Probably 20+ years ago. We would repair it now, but our service department is extremely busy. Do you know a tech who needs a job?.
