This metal mechanical bank is in excellent condition; the Strato Bank from the 1950's. Very space age with a rocket ship (which launches the coins), into the moon. The bank measures approx. 7.5" long x 3.5" high. The coin launching mechanism works great & the original key is still taped to the bottom. There's a label on each side, "Aim to Save" at Central Federal Savings, Austin & Cermak, Cicero, Illinois. "The corner with the revolving clock". One of the labels has wear & a little paper loss. This even comes with the original box; the box has tanned & has some sort of stain on it - see photos. Made by Duro Mold & Mfg., Inc. 9980 Erwin Detroit 34, Mich. Made in the U.S.A. A very collectible space race item & mechanical bank.
