It is designed to lower the center of gravity for more stable movement and enhanced locking force. It features adjustable friction control to hold even heavy equipment stable. It has a panoramic base with a numbered scale and independent locking knob. Double notches make it simple to change camera orientation from horizontal to vertical. The KS-30 incorporates an Arca-type quick release set with a quick release flip-lock system to mount or remove equipment. The large flip-lock lever offers rapid one-handed operation. The included KS-55P panning Arca-type plate allows 360° camera rotation regardless of head position or if the head's panning base is locked.
