This daguerreotype features a folk art painting of a young child seated on a horse and posed next to her dog. She wore a hat and her hair was curled into ringlets. The 1/9 plate is not sealed and the case measures about 2.5 x 3 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself. There is a minor ping above her head and on the horse's back that can only be seen when held at certain non viewing angles.
