Antique Oak Card Catalog Cabinet Store Counter Apothecary VTG
This vintage antique oak card catalog cabinet/store counter features 30 drawers and 6 open shelf bays. The shelf sections appear to have once held drawers and are now used as shelving. Approximate overall size is 75" L x 26" D x 34.5" H; drawer interior is about 22" D x 5" W x 3.5" H, and each shelf bay is about 11" W x 23" D x 4.5" H. Condition shows aged patina and cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, stains, chips/cracks), with some missing dividers and some divider mechanisms needing lubrication/repair; a few knobs are slightly bent and one is loose. Beautiful Oak Card Catalog Cabinet with 30 total drawers and 6 shelves. The shelving area looks like they would have had drawers at one time but have been used as shelves now. Cabinet measures approx: 75" long X 26" deep X 34.5" tall. inside of each drawer measures approximately: 22" deep X 5" wide between each space X 3.5" tall. Each shelving area measures approximately: 11" wide X 23" deep X 4.5" tall. inside of the drawers have wood dividers with a few missing. The front knobs are made to be turned and that would move the wood divider back and forward. Some of the mechanisms work and others need some work such as lubrication etc. The original knobs are mostly in great shape with a few slightly bent ones and one is loose and needs a repair as shown. See photo for example. Cabinet shows patina with cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, marks, stains, some wood chips/cracks, etc from age and normal use. Very unique piece. Very sturdy and heavy with a great look! Hard to come by!
