color for Boston Model 18 / 19 Electric Pencil Sharpener Begin by disconnecting the sharpener from wall power and removing the bottom panel of the pencil sharpener. This can be accomplished by removing the three P3 screws. With the bottom removed the sharpening assembly can be lifted from the outer shell. It may be possible to remove the existing gear by only removing the motor section of the assembly. However, I strongly recommend removing both sides from the centra assembly — the motor and the sharpener / shroud. Removing the sharpener / shroud is only an additional 2 screws and greatly decreases the risk of damaging the existing gear (if it is not already broken). Simply reverse the steps in order to reassemble your sharpener. 2 x Replacement Gears
