JMC Racing BMX FlexFit L/XL Cap Hat by Jim Melton NOS - Free Shipping

In 2003 I had an Embroidery Shop in Philadelphia. I made a lot of items for the Vintage BMX community including Shirts and Hats. I began making JMC Racing hats and sold them on Ebay. A week later, I had a customer named James Melton. Thinking it could not be the same man, I shipped the hat. Another week went by and I received a phone call from an older man with a thick Southern Accent. He identified himself as Jim Melton, the founder of JMC. Thinking he was angry about the hats, I apologized and it turned out that Jim wanted me to produce the hats for him to sell to supplement his retirement. I asked him to send me his signature so we could embroider it on the back and he did. After producing a dozen hats for him, I called him up and told him to sign each hat under the brim. This hat is one of the first dozen of several dozens produced. THIS Hat was not shipped because the logo is off-center, therefore the signature was NOT embroidered.Eventually all of Jim Melton's Signature hats were Blue with a Red Brim and a Red Signature embroidered on the backI am listing 3 different hats of different colors, Solid Red, Solid Blue and a 1 of 1 Blue/Red with White Signature (this was my personal hat.....I sent it along with the first order and asked Jim to sign it and ship it back.....I've had it over 22 years in a bag in a box.)Paypal OnlyShipping to the lower 48 contiguous U.S. ONLY.
