Neat antique stoneware ginger beer bottle with a cool black lion-and-shield logo (or a family coat of arms?) from I. Standring & Co. Ltd. Likely produced between 1895 and 1910. Bottles like this were used to hold naturally fermented ginger beer, which in this era was an alcoholic adult beverage. This 6" tall bottle features a cream glaze with brown and black swirls. Excellent condition - no chips, cracks, or other blemishes. Shipping and the blah, blah, blah...
